Beijing festival-goers get creative with watermelon

A special watermelon festival kicked off in Beijing's Daxing district on May 25. Visitors competed to find new ways to cook with watermelon, from watermelon-flavored desserts to watermelon-filling dumplings. Delicate watermelon carvings also caught many eyes. [Photo/People's Daily Online]
