Paving the way for Winter Olympic Games
Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, a major transportation project for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, is expected to be finished by the end of 2019. The new line will link Beijing's Yanqing district and Chongli county in Zhangjiakou. The track will boast a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and will take less than one hour to travel from Beijing to Zhangjiakou.
