A car-sharing pilot program has been launched in Beijing.
The first batch of 200 cars have been placed on the streets in Shijingshan district.
The number is expected to reach 600 by the end of the year.
Official data shows around 200-thousand cars are offered in the market for car rentals across the country.
The number is growing at around 20 percent every year.
