Floersch returns to track for the first time after horrific crash
Formula 3 driver Sofia Floersch returned to drive for the first time on Wednesday after fracturing her spine in a terrific high-speed crash at the Macau Grand Prix, in China, on November 2018.
The German driver lost control of her car and crashed into a fence and photographers bunker.
The 18 year-old, taking part in testing in Monza on Wednesday, said she never thought to stop fulfilling her dream to become F1 driver.
"I think I had a second birthday on November last year. And from this moment on (wards) I am going to try to chase my dream and get into F1. "
The German driver, who broke two bones of her spinal column, returned to drive just 106 days after the accident.
The first races of the 2019 Formula European Masters is scheduled to take place at Hockenheim, Germany, on the 3th and 5th of May.
