Study outline of Xi's Thought launched in Shanghai
The launch ceremony for the study outline on the publication Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era was recently held in the Memorial for the Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai.
The publication was compiled by the Publicity Department of CPC Central Committee and jointly published by Xuexi Publishing House and People's Publishing House.
Containing 19 chapters, the 260-page book provides an overview of the basic principles and content of Xi's thought.
Jiang Maoning, publisher of the People's Publishing House, said the book is a good study material for the education campaign themed "staying true to our founding mission" that was recently launched among Party members.
Wang Gonglong, professor at Shanghai Party Institute of CPC, said the book answers many fundamental questions, including the understanding of the "New Era" and Xi's worldview and methodology, and systemically elaborates on the important tasks taken by the Party in this new era.
