Over 70 tourists from Russia visiting the Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park in Sanya congratulated China on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC) on Sept 27.

The activity was held in celebration of the PRC's 70th anniversary as well as the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. The event is expected to attract more Russian tourists to Sanya, which is an already popular destination among people from China's northern neighbor.
The Russian tourists waved the national flags of the two countries and shouted "Happy Birthday to New China" in Russian and Chinese at various scenic spots in the park.
