Ninth meeting of Standing Committee of 13th National Committee of CPPCC starts
BEIJING - The ninth meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) started Tuesday in Beijing, with its primary theme as studying and implementing the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 19th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
Wang Yang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC, attended the opening ceremony.
Yang Xiaodu, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and member of the CPC Central Committee Secretariat, attended the meeting on invitation and delivered a report concerning the fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
Studying and implementing the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee in depth is an important political task now and will be in the future, said Yang, also deputy secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and head of the National Supervisory Commission.
Yang called for continuously upholding, consolidating, improving and developing China's state and governance systems.
