Yangshan is a famous peach-growing town and a model of high-efficiency agriculture in Wuxi of East China's Jiangsu province. Despite the impact of a historic 42-day "plum rain" season, Yangshan honey peaches have continued to sell well this year, generating sufficient income for farmers thanks to technical support, brand protection and scientific planting techniques provided by the government.
