Dozens of projects worth $153m signed in Yangtze demonstration zone
A total of 34 new projects ranging from infrastructure to talent acquisition in the demonstration zone of Yangtze River Delta integration were signed in Wujiang, Jiangsu province, on Friday.
The signing ceremony was held at a meeting for high-level development of the delta, and was participated by local governments and 40 State-owned enterprises of Jiangsu province.
The projects include an automobile industrial park in Wangping township, a circular economy park for textile manufacturing in Shengze township and a talent acquisition platform in Lili township.
The total investment of the projects is estimated to be 1 billion yuan ($152.9 million), according to a news release from the executive committee of the Yangtze River Delta integration demonstration zone.
Wujiang district is part of the 2,400-square kilometer demonstration zone, which was designated in 2019 and also include Qingpu district, Shanghai, and Jiashang county, Zhejiang province.
