Beijing reports 7 new local COVID-19 cases
Beijing reported seven locally confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, all of whom live in the capital's Shunyi district and are close contacts of previously reported cases, according to Beijing Municipal Health Commission.
The seven cases were confirmed on Monday.
The city confirmed five local cases and an asymptomatic case on Saturday, two local cases on Friday, an asymptomatic case on Thursday, and also an asymptomatic case on Wednesday.
Among the newly confirmed seven cases, five are from a trading service company and the remaining two are drivers of online ride-hailing platforms.
Six of them were confirmed as mild COVID-19 cases and the other was a moderate case. Their ages range from those in their 20s to 40s.
Beijing also reported an imported asymptomatic case of COVID-19 on Tuesday.
