Trade industry development to be strengthened, ministry says

China will strengthen efforts on coordinating development of trade industries, according to the country's Ministry of Commerce on Wednesday.

Wang Wentao, China's commerce minister, said at a media briefing in Beijing that China is to certificate a new batch of foreign trade transformation and upgrade bases this year, and will also build a new host of industrial parks for processing trade.

The country will also establish a cluster of pilot demonstration zones for imports to expand scale of imports and stimulate quality development of related industries, he said.
