"We planted several more sakura trees in 2019, so more are expected to bloom this year," He said.
Under current regulations, local residents and visitors may not enter the campus to see the trees in person this year. But the university will provide live broadcasts via local media. It is also inviting medical workers from around the country who assisted in fighting the pandemic last year to enjoy the blossoms.
