86-year-old designer shows beauty of qipao

Senior fashion designer has been displaying charm of traditional Chinese costume qipao for more than 50 years in Shijiazhuang, North China's Hebei province.
Jin Yuxia, 86, became fascinated by fashion design when she was young.
Although she studied completely different field in university, Jin learned tailoring by herself and started to make qipao for herself, classmates and friends.
Among all kinds dresses Jin loves qipao best, and she believes that each qipao has a soul which can show the beauty and elegance of a woman.
She opened her own workshop and began teaching apprentices while making qipao for customers. She wants to pass on her qipao making techniques, the precious intangible cultural heritage, to the next generations.
