Jiangsu reports 39 new COVID cases

East China's Jiangsu province reported 39 locally transmitted cases and 1 local asymptomatic carrier of COVID-19 on Monday morning.
Its capital city Nanjing reported 38 locally transmitted cases, while Suqian reported one case, who had been to Nanjing days before.
A total of 76 locally transmitted cases were undergoing treatment at Nanjing's designated hospital as of early Monday morning, according to the Jiangsu Health Commission. Thirteen local asymptomatic carriers were under medical observation.
All passengers taking public transportation, including bus and subway, must present a green QR health code starting Monday. The city has also launched a citywide second round of nucleic acid tests for 9.3 million people starting Sunday.
