Xinjiang's heaven of horses beckons visitors

Zhaosu county of Ili Kazak autonomous prefecture is the only county in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region that is desert-free. Lying in the southwest of the Ili River Valley, the county is rich with water and soil that is teeming with fine breeds of horses.

It has been in the fame of home to "Tianma" (heaven horse in Chinese) and bears a long history of the horse culture.
