High-speed trains coming to Qinghai-Tibet line

The company started renovation of the Xining-Golmud section of the railway in June 2021, with completion expected by the end of this year.
"The renovation of the section aims to repair the railroad bed's frost damage, saline soil damage, sand damage and risky bridges and culverts along the line," Ma said, adding that it is also strengthening the passenger transportation facilities at some intermediate stations that have high passenger volume."
The Fuxing bullet trains are expected to be running on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway in July.
