Jining accelerates electricity supply to power major projects

Shandong province has recently been vigorously advancing the construction of major projects, focusing on expanding effective investments and accelerating the completion and operation of projects.

Among these efforts, Jining in Shandong has taken measures such as enhancing power grid construction and optimizing power supply services to fully guarantee electricity supply, aiming to propel the rapid implementation of major projects across the province and an overall improvement in the province's economic performance.

As a provincial-level key project, Shengfa Coking Co Ltd's "Coal-Coking-Ammonia" comprehensive utilization demonstration project covers an area of about 900 mu. It mainly includes the coking-to-ammonia factory project, dry quenching coke waste heat generation project, and coking gas-to-ammonia comprehensive application project.

As the projects require the installation of two new 1600 kVA transformers, State Grid Jining Power Supply Co promptly responded by coordinating with local Yutai Power Supply Co to establish a direct communication channel. They optimized work processes, streamlined business procedures, closely monitored project progress, and took multiple measures to ensure the efficient operation of each link, ensuring the early acceptance of project construction electricity and distribution projects.

Since last year, State Grid Yutai Power Supply Co has processed a total of 186 high and low voltage business expansions, with a combined capacity of 70,500 kVA. They invested in 15 pillar-mounted switches and 36 sets of drop-out fuses, achieving a completion rate of 100 percent for online power grid transactions, said the company.

In serving the construction of provincial-level key enterprises, State Grid Jining Power Supply Co has prioritized service for key projects across the entire region. They have established a comprehensive tracking service mechanism for key projects' power supply services, ensuring that "electricity waits for projects, not projects waiting for electricity", said the power supplier, adding that it will continuously optimize the power business environment, contributing to the high-quality development of the regional economy.
