State Grid Gansu Jinchang Power Supply Company supports rural revitalization
On Aug 28, the staff of State Grid Jinchang Power Supply Company conducted a safety inspection in Longjing village, Ningyuanbao town, Jinchuan district, Jinchang city, Gansu province.
Longjing village, so named for its proximity to Longjing Mountain, is a quintessential suburban village just 5 kilometers from Jinchang city. Previously, this obscure village was characterized by dilapidated houses, poor living conditions, low incomes, and few outsiders. Nearly one-third of the villagers were absent, and the locals earned a meager living by cultivating wheat and other crops.
In recent years, Longjing village has capitalized on the beautiful rural construction initiative, utilizing its resource advantages to primarily develop a folk life area featuring the historical sites of Panjiadun and Taohuayuan, as well as a Yehu Bay leisure service area centered on flower and nursery stock cultivation. It also focuses on exploring cultural heritage, linking various attractions to create a coherent route, and aims to establish a distinctive rural tourism showcase where "the beauty, fun, and leisure of rural life can be experienced in Longjing". The village's appearance has been completely transformed, making it a renowned "star village". It continuously innovates in developing tourism economy, revitalizing idle farmhouses, driving the transformation and upgrading of local traditional industries, and enhancing employment and income opportunities for villagers.
"We are so grateful for the electrician's regular visits to check our electricity safety," said a guesthouse manager in the village. By consistently delivering efficient, high-quality electricity services, upgrading the rural power grid, and constructing auxiliary power facilities, the company has continuously fueled the development and renovation of Longjing village.
