State Grid Suqian Power Supply Company takes multiple measures to fight against Typhoon Bebinca

In response to Typhoon Bebinca, the State Grid Corporation of China has intensified its typhoon prevention and response measures in Suqian, Jiangsu province.

The State Grid Suqian Power Supply Company has actively responded by strengthening patrols, eliminating hidden dangers and minimizing the impact of the typhoon on the safe operation of the power grid, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

The main leaders of the company, along with the heads of the departments responsible for power safety production and supply guarantee, have taken the lead in taking turns on duty. All employees have been put on standby to ensure that power supply, customer service, and other tasks are handled swiftly and orderly during the typhoon period.

Before the typhoon arrived, the company made comprehensive preparations for the typhoon response by initiating a city-wide regional typhoon emergency response, establishing an emergency command center, optimizing duty arrangements, smoothing information communication channels and ensuring the availability of emergency rescue forces.

The company's distribution network department arranged over 300 emergency personnel, conducted more than 160 special patrols of power lines and removed nearly 120 foreign objects. Additionally, a repair team consisting of 11 people and 4 emergency vehicles was dispatched to assist Suzhou, while 3 power generation vehicles were arranged to support Shanghai.

The power transmission department organized 120 personnel to conduct specialized patrols on over 130 lines, including the 800 kV Xitai DC line, utilizing methods such as manual and visual patrols.

Suqian Sunshine Power Transmission and Distribution Engineering Co Ltd has fully prepared its emergency personnel, equipment and materials to combat typhoons and ensure power supply.

The suburban power supply station and the medium-voltage operation and maintenance station of Suqian Sanxin Power Supply Service Co Ltd have both been placed on emergency standby to respond promptly to the impending severe convective weather.
