To better carry out power supply equipment inspection work, on Saturday, State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company in Zhejiang province formulated a high-standard inspection plan for maintenance and to eliminate equipment hazards.

Power supply equipment inspection is an important measure to ensure the safety and stability of the power grid. Regular inspections of power equipment can promptly identify and resolve faults and hidden dangers in power equipment, preventing equipment failures from affecting the stability of the power grid.

"During the inspection process, we are meticulous and thorough, focusing on checking the operating conditions of the tower bodies and the surrounding environment," said a maintenance worker while conducting power supply inspections on the 110-kilovolt Nanhuang Line and Nanqingtian Line.

The company also utilized intelligent tools such as drones to conduct detailed inspections of key transmission lines. By employing infrared temperature measurement and laser scanning, they could promptly grasp the equipment's operating conditions.

Additionally, they performed remote patrols from the transmission panoramic monitoring center and on-site special inspections to prevent and control external damage and wildfire hazards.

The company also sent staff members to damage sites and wildfire-prone areas to check the power facilities and conduct wildfire prevention and carry out publicity work.

To enhance the awareness of wildfire prevention and power protection among residents, the company's staff members placed safety warning signs in key locations.

Moreover, to improve the maintenance operations, company staff members conducted risk assessments and evaluations in advance in accordance with the plan, strictly implemented risk control measures, and cracked down on diverse types of habitual violations to ensure the safety of maintenance operation sites.
