Art that evokes city lights

Curated by Wang Chunchen, a professor of Central Academy of Fine Arts, the exhibition is on at Gen Gallery until Jan 5.

Li's mixed media works are derived from her rich experiences of studying and traveling abroad, which has allowed her an exposure to different cultures. Growing up a city girl, Li examines the opportunities and challenges of urbanization in a globalized context, and its influence on city dwellers' mentality and emotions.
