On March 12, employees of the State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company went to the North Development Zone of Longyou, Quzhou, Zhejiang province. They conducted an inspection of the distributed photovoltaic equipment on the roof of Zhejiang Shenglan New Material Technology Co Ltd, checked for potential safety hazards, and improved the reliability of photovoltaic power generation.
It is reported that the distributed photovoltaic project of Zhejiang Shenglan New Material Technology Co Ltd makes use of more than 5,000 square meters of the factory building roof, installs 2,000 photovoltaic panels, and has an installed capacity of 768 kilowatts. It can generate 930,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. Calculated based on a consumption rate of 80 percent, it can save the enterprise nearly 150,000 yuan in electricity bills every year. Against the backdrop of the current goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, photovoltaic power generation, as a clean, environmentally friendly and renewable new energy source, is an important means to achieve green environmental protection, low-carbon and high efficiency.
