China willing to enhance dialogue, cooperation with EU

China has attached great importance to the European Union and China-EU relations, and is willing to enhance dialogue and cooperation with the EU at all levels and in all areas, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Monday.

The year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the EU.

Calling the year a crucial milestone in the development of China-EU relations, Mao said at a daily news conference that China stands ready to work together with the EU to implement the important consensus reached by leaders of both sides.

China is willing to organize a series of activities commemorating the anniversary, enhance high-level exchanges, dialogue and cooperation, so as to promote the long-term stability and advancement of China-EU relations, she added.
