"Fully leveraging its unique advantages in scientific and technological innovation and cultural creativity, Beijing will continue to support original science fiction content, strengthen technological empowerment, optimize spatial layout, nurture the industry ecosystem, and promote the high-quality development of the science fiction industry," he said.
The opening ceremony comprehensively reviewed the fruitful achievements in promoting the development of the science fiction industry by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Beijing Municipal Government.
The two sides signed a new round of the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement to Promote the Development of the Beijing Science Fiction Industry" on the ceremony.
The 2025 China Science Fiction Industry Report and China's first space real scene movie were released.
The Beijing Future Digital Space Innovation Experimental Zone was launched.
