State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company: Coordinated power supply protection at medium and low voltages achieves 'zero perception' for users

On April 6, employees of the State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company arrived at the construction site of the 10-kilovolt power line relocation project for the Quzhou-Songyang section (Longyou section) of the Quzhou-Lishui Railway in Sihou, Longyou county, Quzhou city, Zhejiang province. Together with the power supply protection team of the distribution construction branch company, through the coordinated operation of medium and low voltage power generation vehicles and the allocation of cross-regional resources, they carried out power supply protection work in the construction area of the 10-kilovolt line relocation for the resettlement community of the railway. They successfully achieved "zero flicker" of the power grid and "zero perception" for users during the construction period.

The railway is a key transportation project in Zhejiang province, and the construction of the resettlement communities along its route is crucial for the hundreds of relocated households to live and work in peace and contentment.

This 10-kilovolt line relocation project involves the renovation of the supporting power grid in the community. The power supply protection team innovatively adopted the collaborative mode of "medium-voltage power generation vehicle + low-voltage grid connection". Through efficient and coordinated live-line operations, it not only ensured the smooth progress of the line relocation and renovation construction but also guaranteed that there was "zero impact" on the electricity consumption of the residents in the resettlement community and the construction party.

At 7:30 am on that day, on the Sihou Grain Station Branch Line of the 10-kilovolt Hongcheng 7825 Line, the live-line operation personnel of the State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company were divided into groups to conduct simultaneous power supply access for the distribution transformers and major branch lines involved in the power supply protection work. After the local power supply station had taken the necessary safety measures at the site, the construction team carried out the line relocation and renovation construction as planned. After eight consecutive hours of arduous efforts, the line relocation project was successfully completed at 5 pm on the same day. The power generation vehicles supplied a cumulative total of 2,064 kilowatt-hours of electricity.

"This cross-level power supply protection not only tests the actual combat capabilities of medium-voltage power generation vehicles but also provides a standardized model for the coordinated power supply protection of multiple power sources in complex scenarios," said Yang Zhendong, the person in charge of the on-site power supply protection. The live-line operation not only has gained crucial time for the construction of the resettlement community but also, through the coordination between the city and the county and technical breakthroughs, has accumulated valuable experience for the power supply protection of subsequent major projects. In addition, the discipline inspection personnel of the company have also been embedded in the supervision process throughout, closely monitoring key links such as resource allocation, construction compliance, and cost control to ensure that the power supply protection operation is standardized and efficient.
