Six dead in mountain flood in Guangxi

As of 6 pm on Sunday, six of the eight missing persons in the mountain flood in Longsheng county, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, have been found but unfortunately confirmed deceased with 2 people still missing.
A total of 9 search and rescue teams, comprising firefighters, police, armed police, emergency responders and villagers, initiated a comprehensive search operation covering a nearly 20-kilometer stretch along both banks of the river.
At 5 am on Friday, a sudden mountain flood disaster struck Sanshe village in Sishui township, resulting in 8 individuals going missing, 3 injuries, and the destruction of 10 residential houses.
