China with progress in digital economy to meet the demand of ASEAN's 670m population

"The ASEAN population is becoming increasingly digital tech-savvy, and digitalization is getting into virtually all major aspects of life," said Ong Tee Keat, president of Belt and Road Initiative Caucus for Asia Pacific, Malaysia, at the 2025 RCEP Media & Think Tank Forum on May 25. He stated that China with its progress in digital economy will make the perfect partner for ASEAN to meet the ever growing demand of the 670 million population.
