China deploys 10 national comprehensive pilot zones to boost digital economy

China will establish 10 national comprehensive pilot zones for data elements, according to an announcement made by the National Data Administration, CCTV News reported on Thursday.

The pilot zones for data elements will be located in places, including Beijing, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces.

They will serve as platforms for cultivating market entities and boosting the growth of data markets.

These zones aim to unleash the synergy between the real economy and the digital economy, the report said.
