Anhui Dingyuan: Rooftop photovoltaic power stations welcome the summer peak period

On June 3, 2025, power technicians conducted a special inspection of the grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) power generation facilities on the rooftop of a large enterprise in the Economic Development Zone of Dingyuan county, Chuzhou city, Anhui province. With the approach of summer, the "rooftop photovoltaic power stations" built on the rooftops of enterprise factories in Dingyuan county have entered their peak power generation period.

In recent years, Dingyuan county has fully utilized solar energy resources and the idle rooftop space of enterprise factories to construct centralized rooftop photovoltaic power generation projects. To date, the county has effectively utilized over 200,000 square meters of factory rooftop area, with a photovoltaic power generation capacity reaching 45 megawatts. Photovoltaic electricity not only alleviates the daytime peak electricity demand pressure and reduces the electricity costs for enterprises, but also feeds all surplus power into the national grid, creating significant economic and ecological benefits, supporting green transformation and upgrading efforts.
