Lhasa Beer Festival blends tradition with modernity

Many residents gathered on Saturday evening at the North Square of Wangfujing in Lhasa for the grand opening of the 2025 Lhasa Beer Festival as the city kicked off a month-long celebration blending Tibetan tradition, modern music, and youth culture.
Live bands, ethnic dance performances, and a standout DJ-Gorshey fusion dance ignited the crowd, creating a mass dance moment uniting locals and tourists in celebration.
According to Xizang Lhasa Brewery, the organizer, the event will run until Aug 10. This year's festival centers on wine culture, youth trends, and urban life.
