Enhanced charging piles spur green travel
Chinese power operators are better maintaining charging piles nationwide to safeguard such "energy stations" that help boost green mobility. In Xuzhou, Jiangsu province, the operation and maintenance of charging piles have become critical to sustaining eco-friendly travel amid the scorching summer heat, and State Grid Xuzhou dispatched teams to all charging sites in its service area, carrying out a comprehensive hazard-inspection campaign. The staff members inspected cabinets, touchscreens, pile housings and cable connections, conducting rectification on any spotted defect. They also explained safe-use practices and emergency procedures to drivers coming to charge, refining charging services.
