Firefighting secures passenger safety
Chinese railway operators have intensified firefighting drills nationwide in response to the country's 34th Fire Safety Promotion Month falling this November, to ensure safe rail transport. Taiyuan Electric Signaling Depot in Shanxi province has made special deployments, inviting fire experts to offer fire-safety training and oversee firefighting drills. Its staff members have been asked to become more familiar with fire hazards and prevention measures. Engineer Bai Zhen said, "Fire safety is no small matter. Only by implementing every prevention and control measure can we build a solid defense line for passenger safety."
