A world of wonder: Silk Road for all children

At the opening ceremony, 27 international guests were appointed as "Fairy Tale Wuyi" international promotion ambassadors. Children's authors Zhou Min, Ci Qi, and Da Xiu donated books to the Fairy Tale House. The event also witnessed the signing of several cooperation agreements in children's literature projects, including the China-France Children's Friendly Towns initiative, an animated series Return to Nanxia: Island of Wonder, rights export for Tang Tang's fairy tale The Water Goblin Kakasha, a stage adaptation for Tang Tang's picture book The River and The Fish, and a new column launch and strategic cooperation with Chinese Campus Literature. The Chinese edition of Hungarian writer Rejto Jeno's Golden Whirlwind was also released.

The event places a strong emphasis on the growth of children's literature, encouraging Chinese and international writers to exchange creative insights and explore new opportunities for translation and publishing cooperation. It aspires to broaden the imaginative horizons available to young readers around the world and to jointly contribute to a new chapter in the global development of children's literature.
