China, US fasten logistics tie

According to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), China and the United States will promote their logistics cooperation and exchange, in a bid to improve Sino-US trade imbalance and boost economic and trade development.

The Sino-US Logistics Exhibition, chaired by CCPIT, the China Communications and Transportation Association, the US National Industrial Transportation League and the International Transport and Logistics Association, is scheduled to be held inBeijingfrom July 16 to 20, 2007.

During the exhibition, the two countries will discuss logistics standardization, logistics technology and personnel. Furthermore, they will exchange ideas on local distribution networks, clients and social resource advantages.
