HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks plunged 634.48 points, or 3.19 percent, to close at 19,259.83 on Wednesday, tracking losses in the global markets.
Bank of China sank 3.0 percent to $2.89?(37 cents), while ICBC retreated 1.9 percent to $4.72.
HSBC was down 2.4 percent to $66.45, and Chueng Kong Holdings fell 3.1 percent to $94.30.
