BEIJING - Chinese shares closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 15.27 points, or 0.74 percent, to finish at 2,085.98.
The Shenzhen Component Index gained 15.64 points, or 0.21 percent, to close at 7416.99.
