A dog in Jinan of Shandong Province is raising eyebrows owing to its penchant for eating grass.

Owner Yang discovered this early this year when one day he walked the dog near a lawn. He found the dog eating the grass with great relish. Sometimes it ate so much grass that it had no appetite for meat and rice.

Yang said he was not worried the dog would be malnourished as it was active, healthy and happy.
