Kaiyang Gorge Park

Located in Kaiyang County, 54 kilometres from Guiyang, this gorge is a newly developed scenic spot. In the 18 kilometre-long section open to tourists, one can raft along the river, play in the water amusement park, study the ecology of the area and enjoy the fascinating customs of the local ethnic groups. Rafting through a series of rapids and shoals in the gorge, which is thrilling but safe, has become a popular tourist attraction.
