Horse racing in Lhasa

Women in Damxung prairie are dressed in traditional costume entering the festival grounds. The Horse Racing Festival in Damxung prairie kicked off on Aug 16 and will last seven days. This traditional activity has grown into a grand local gathering for horse racing, business, entertainment and other sports.
