Wrap up: Generally speaking, Chinese job-applications forms contain more personal information than foreign ones, including age, marital status and ethnicity. There is no evidence that a majority of Chinese employers use these questions to judge potential employees -- there is a possibility that some companies are just using a popular format and never take the personal information into consideration.
