Certain famous CPPCC members find it difficult to part the eager crowd of reporters hoping for a quote in order to get to the conference hall.

Liu Xiang, former Olympic hurdle gold medal winner, was surrounded by dozens of reporters asking him about his proposal this year as he tried to make his way to the CPPCC opening session on Tuesday afternoon. He shouted and pointed to Yao Ming, former NBA player who's also a CPPCC member, to distract the reporters' attention away from him.
