西藏大昭寺史上最大規模金頂維修竣工

　　大昭寺于2011年啟動了金頂維修工程，在金頂維修一期、二期工程中，西藏自治區、拉薩市以及大昭寺共同籌措資金4400余萬元進行維修。此次金頂維修工程包括釋迦牟尼殿、強巴佛殿、松贊干布殿等5座大殿金頂和部分房檐，總面積達3743平方米，這是大昭寺史上最大規模的金頂維修。目前，該金頂維修已竣工，并于進行了初驗。大昭寺距今有1350年歷史，大殿中供奉釋迦牟尼12歲等身像，在藏傳佛教中擁有至高無上的地位。
