A prostitute soliciting clients along a roadside got him involved in a traffic accident, a man complained to Shenzhen Commercial Daily.

Li said he was driving along Xinzhou Road one evening last week when he noticed a young woman "with an anxious expression" waving at him.

Thinking she needed help, Li stopped and asked her what was wrong. But she just smiled and said: "Want some company?"

Before Li could react, his car was hit from behind, then another vehicle bumped into that car.

Because Li had stopped illegally, he paid the other two drivers 3,000 yuan (US$360) to appease them.

The angry Li then turned round to reason with the young woman, but she had disappeared.
