A boy fell from the fourth floor of a residential building in Xi'an a few days ago while trying to imitate Batman after watching a DVD, reports Beijing Morning Post.

Maomao, six, invited playmates Doudou and Yanyan over to watch the Hollywood film "Batman" after their parents had all gone to work.

When the movie finished, the excited kids decided to copy some of Batman's stunts. Maomao climbed from his balcony to the neighbouring balcony of Doudou's flat.

But when Doudou tried to follow suit, he slipped. His fall was fortunately slowed by a clothes-drying rack on the second floor. He later woke in hospital with slight injuries.
