Thief steals pen in court ( 2003-12-15 16:38) (China Daily)
A thief stealed a pen in the court after he was sentenced to three years in prison, reports Huaxi Metropolis News. On September 15, Chen Jianjun stole three mobile phones at the long-distance bus and railway stations of Chengdu. When his sentence was read out on Thursday, the court secretary found his pen worth some 100 yuan (US$12) missing; it was later found in Chen's pocket.
