在理解這句話之前，我們要先看一下flash這個詞，它指的是“閃現”，有一個這樣的短語：flash in the pan，指的是“曇花一現”。由此可以看出
flash有“短暫”的意思。還有一個短語be in the flash，指的是“立刻，馬上”。 in the flashest of the flashes
實際上是一種夸張的說法，但又不失生動，意思就等于in the flash。
