Jo: In Real English, we look at words and phrases that you might not find in your dictionary. ….. …oh, Jean I’m bored with presenting Real English programmes…

Jean: 什么？You’re bored? 你悶了嗎？主持節(jié)目這么好玩的事情你怎么會(huì)悶?zāi)兀?/P>

Jo: Well, I’ve presented so many programmes, I just feel like I’ve been there, done that, got the T-shirt.

Jean: 你這個(gè)說(shuō)法很有意思，啊，我知道了，你講的這個(gè)就是今天我們要學(xué)的短語(yǔ)吧？

Jo: Oh yes, I suppose it could.

Jean: 那你再給我們說(shuō)一邊好不好，慢一點(diǎn)說(shuō)。

Jo: Been there,

Jean: 就是已經(jīng)去過(guò)了….

Jo: Done that,

Jean: 也已經(jīng)做過(guò)了….

Jo: Got the T-shirt.

Jean: 連留念T-shirt都買了。那這又怎么講呢？

Jo: Well you use this phrase if you’re bored with something.

Jean: OK, 原來(lái)如果你想說(shuō)你對(duì)某件事情早已經(jīng)歷過(guò)，都已經(jīng)厭倦了，就可以這樣說(shuō)。

Jo: Or if you’re not very impressed with something.

Jean: 或者你對(duì)某件事情已經(jīng)不再新鮮，都有點(diǎn)歷盡滄海難為水的感覺(jué)了，也可以用這個(gè)說(shuō)法。

Jean: 為什么英語(yǔ)里有這么一個(gè)表達(dá)方式呢？

Jo: The expression actually comes from talking about travelling.

Jean: Travelling? 和旅游有關(guān)嗎？

Jo: Well, when you visit somewhere new you might buy a T-shirt with the name of the place on it.

Jean: OK, 就是說(shuō)都去過(guò)經(jīng)歷過(guò)了，都買了留念的T-shirt了，已經(jīng)不想再去了。就是你已經(jīng) been there, done that, got the T-shirt?

Jo: That’s right. Well that’s all for today.
