3. Ready in the flashest of the flashes

在理解這句話之前，我們要先看一下flash這個(gè)詞，它指的是“閃現(xiàn)”，有一個(gè)這樣的短語：flash in the pan，指的是“曇花一現(xiàn)”。由此可以看出 flash有“短暫”的意思。還有一個(gè)短語be in the flash，指的是“立刻，馬上”。 in the flashest of the flashes 實(shí)際上是一種夸張的說法，但又不失生動(dòng)，意思就等于in the flash。

4. This is so much more than a bag

如果直譯這句話，意思就是“這要比一個(gè)袋子還多”，但你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)這不是一句正常的中文。正確的意思是：這比袋子還要袋子。比如當(dāng)我們生氣的時(shí)候會(huì)說“你怎么這么傻，比傻子還傻”英文就是：You're so much more than a jerk!

這是在英文中的習(xí)慣表達(dá)方式，類似的還有the man of the year，the album of the year。The work of the moment 的意思就是“絕世佳作”，the man of the year 就是“年度風(fēng)云人物”，the album of the year 就是“年度最佳唱片”。

Prontissimo

Prontissimo is a kind of make-up word, coming from both Italian and English; sometimes people use it for fun. If we are in a hurry, we used to say hurry, or be quick please. If we don't wanna be offensive or reveal our impatience, "prontissimo", with no doubt, could be a good choice. Prontissimo 實(shí)際上是一個(gè)半外來語，前部分來自印度語presto意思是“快”，這個(gè)詞來自印度的一種樂器，這種樂器要以特別快的速度來彈奏，最后人們就把protissimo做為“快”的代名詞了。
