Hong Kong pop singer Eason Chan will hold four concerts at Shanghai International Gymnastic Center on Dec 21, 23, 24 and 25.
Originally only three concerts were planned for Shanghai between Dec 23 and 25. But ticket sales greatly exceeded expectations since organizers decided to add one more show on Dec 21.
With a new program lined up for each concert, Chan plans to rely on his vocals to impress audiences rather than costumes and special effects. His China tour will include 11 other shows across the country. They include stops in Beijing (Dec 29, 30) and Guangzhou (Jan 21, 22) following his performances in Shanghai.
The Dec 23, 24 and 25 shows are nearly sold out, but fans can still get their hands on tickets (180-880 yuan) for the Dec 21 concert.
