Continuous snowfall at the beginning of February has turned Huating county, in the northern Gansu province, into what locals have called a "white fairytale land". The white-washed scenery has attracted many visitors to the area to take photographs.

Huating county is a famous county in Gansu province, known as the “coal county” due to its abundant coal resources. Sitting aside the Silk Road route - an ancient business route from western China to Central Asian and Europe - the county also makes full use of its geographical advantage to better develop the economy.
